Our History
Kelly’s Furniture Store was founded in 1951 by Earl Kelly, who set out to build a local store where quality furniture was accessible to everyone. In 1960, Earl’s nephew, Bob Houser, joined the business, learning every aspect of the trade. By 1969, Bob and his wife, Mary, purchased the store and continued building on Earl’s vision.
Today, three of Bob and Mary’s children, along with several grandchildren, proudly work in the business. That means when you shop with us, you’re not just doing business with a store — you’re working directly with the Houser family, committed to providing the same friendly, personalized service our customers have counted on for over 60 years.
